The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses
The DAISY Award is given to a nurse whose clinical skill and especially her/his compassionate care exemplify the kind of nurse that our patients, their families, and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model. She/he consistently meets all of the following criteria:
- Dedicated to patient care and satisfaction.
- Attitude remains positive and demonstrates professionalism in the workplace.
- Interested in the needs of the patient and family.
- Stands for and demonstrates the caring ideals, mission, and values of Wayne HealthCare.
- Yearly evaluation is in good standing.
